First of all GoPro Hero is a compact, rugged, lightweight (less than 100 grams) action camera with a special attachment for anything (boards, kiteboarding, surfing, windsurfing, helmets, ski poles, cars, bikes, BMXs and other movable staff). Everyone will be able to enjoy hours of video about your achievements and exciting emotions in 4K quality.
GoPro Hero 4 is capable for recording video in 4K resolution at a speed of 30 frames per second, 2.7K at 50fps, 1440p at 80fps, and 720p/960p/1080p at 120fps. Such high video quality has become possible with a 2x more powerful processor SoC Ambarella A9 (dual A9 ARM Core ® CortexTM-A9 processor 1GHz with FPU accelerator) for advanced applications, wireless connection and streaming video in social media.
GoPro Hero 4 will also come with a 12-megapixel photo sensor, a completely new lens for shooting in the dark, together with Multi-Exposure and HDR WDR tone mapping, electronic image stabilization, an improved MCTF and a QuikCapture feature. Dual sensor interfaces 12-lane VDS/HiSPiTM/subLVDS, 4-lane, remote viewfinder playback, which is extremely easy to use. You shouldn’t have special technical knowledge or skills to manage it. GoPro Hero cameras are amazing because they have a waterproof casing with a flat lens for shooting under water (up to 130ft or 40m). Built-in Wi-Fi module, Bluetooth, USB & HDMI are the only things that can bring you back home. The camera has the ability to capture static images during video recording and perform encoding H.264/ BP / MP / HP Level 5.1 and MJPEG.
For now we actually know that the new GoPro friend will be available in two different specs: silver and black. The Silver Hero 4 unfortunately doesn’t offer 4K video at 30fps, but it delivers the professional video capture 4K at 15fps, 2.7K at 30fps, 1440p at 48fps, 1080p at 60fps, 960p at 100fps, and only 720p at 120fps. The most important hallmark of Silver model is an LCD display on the back side, which will be absent in Black Edition version.
GoPro Hero 4 will position the retail shelves from October 5th 2014, which is earlier than HTC Recamera. Action Cameras of GoPro have become extremely popular as an excellent way to capture high video quality at a high speed. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for Silver Hero should be $399 and Hero 4 Black should cost $499, that is an acceptable price for the both GoPro cameras.
