You need to work on those engine block wall areas in order to allow the full turn of the beam without touching. Be aware not to damage any oil lines o weaken the wall too much.

weird , why you called "original beam" the connection rod?.
why you called "motor" the engine?

why you used "if is correct"? when should be "if it's correct" ?

Anyway, where are you from in Italy?.

                  enjoy the Forum

Hi my friend use crank from Lada- 79mm whit some modification on crank and block and use rods from Lada samara but big problem is oil way must carefully grind but if you brocke in oil... you can pressed cup rum pipe whit some drilling ..... whit that combo you can use OE pistons because rods is shorter..... Italian whit lada parts you have more modifications and need lathe and crank grinder ....

You´ll end up with a low rod to stroke ratio. That combo won´t rev as the one we are using.

The crank from Fiat brava 1.6 16v engine (Torque step B) is the same that the Fiat Linea one. The displacement difference is due to the bigger bore

I suggest to get a set of brava connecting rods, they are stronger that yours.. or at least get a set of ARP rod bolts.

brava rods + brava crank + custom forged pistons (thin NPR rings, lower compression heigth)

btw: What´s your engine block height ?

I write because have one other option for bigger ccm, yes engine whit lada crank /rods (is forged) not revs cc7800-8000 . I write because and parts from Russia is cheep in my country . But for Micone because is from Italy is easy to find Fiat crank .....
I will look for crank and AR pistons for future to make one engine .
block is same from SOHC 1.6 tipo
