Just snapped a few pics of the progress of the kit. Alot of this stuff is still un-chromed and in raw material state but non the less here's some pics:
Both pics Are with a mock up turbo here:
The Turbo I'm using:
The difference in turbo sizes. One on the right is the new one:
The Intake Manifold. There's injectors to be plumbed in the runners:
Intake Manifold, Turbo and Manifold:
The Bike...Half of it anyways:
Like I said above all the parts are in raw state...Parts will be Jet hot coated and Ceramic chromed and other Painted and Chromed.
All the mechanical parts are finished up minus a few odds and ends. Then when the Stand Alone Computer comes in and is installed, it's off to the Dyno for Tunning and Numbers!
Here's the Technical specs for you Tech Heads:
KKK Hybrid Turbo
Water Injectection controlled through Stand Alone Ecu
Secondary Injectors off a Mazda Miata Controlled by Stand Alone Ecu
Fuel Rail off a Mazda Miata
Custom Intake Manifold with secondary injectors plummed in each runner
Apexi Blow Off Valve
Custom Drag Style Manifold with 4 into 1 Collector
Custom Dump Style Exhaust
K&N Filter
HKS Boost Controller
Autometer Boost gauge
Autometer Exhaust gas temp gauge
Wideband 5 wire O2 sensor with external gauge
B&M Fuel Pressure gauge
If you look at the manifold it actually has a collector on it and all the runners come in and flow downward towards the exhaust wheel. Unlike alot of other turbo manifolds sold that have the two ouytter cyclinders fighting the two center cylinders to flow down towards the Exhaust wheel. This manifold will flow very good and is made of Thick Grade S 40 Steel. Welds will not crack like thin walled Stainless Headers.
The Intake Manifold setup is alot different then the kits you see sold. It is an actual Intake Runner setup with the secondary injectors plummed right on the intake track to ensure the Fuel gets into the cyls.
The Stand alone Computer I'm running does everything From Controlling the factory injectors and up to 6 additional injectors. Not to mention it has all your basic features like Timming retarding Air fuel etc and has Cells up to 20,000 rpm. It also has Controll over Water injection, NOS controllers (Progressive), And Boost Control.
Exhaust Manifold and Turbo Bolted on (Mock Up Turbo)...
Exhaust Manifold Close up off bike...
Exhaust Manifold Collector
Intake Manifold With Injector Bungs Tacked on (Still nedd to be trimmed down)
Boost Gauge and Shift Light...
