The trans is a three-speed Liberty connected to the engine with a Bruno converter and controlled by a Liberty air shifter, and it sends power to a custom billet SCS transfer case and then on to Moser differentials (9-inch in front, 9.5-inch in back). The differential housings were custom-built at Bobby's shop along with all the fabrication of the NHRA-certified 25.2 tube chassis.
